鄧麗君 Teresa Teng (1/29/1953-5/8/1995)

80年代風靡臺、港、中、日、東南亞的臺灣歌星。「北國之春」最近網路票選爲鄧麗君唱最被喜愛的歌曲。



Teresa Teng was a renowned Taiwanese Singer of the 1980s in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, China and South Asia. "Northland's Spring" was voted recently on the internet the most loved song sang by Teresa Teng.

Wild Scallions 野葱

Wild scallions are growing everywhere. They are edible. But, they won't be as good as farm grown. I threw them onto compost heap.

野葱到處亂生亂長。雖說它們是可吃的, 我認爲還是農場培育的才更好吃。順手丟棄堆肥堆。(想到小時候老師和課本教--對岸同胞吃草根... !!!)

I borrowed these scallion pictures from Rev. Chuang's blog. They enjoyed the food and one day trip to northeast coast-Yilan, Taiwan. What a treat they shared.

Catch the Train 追火車

我在魚夫的博客上看到這張照片, 禁不住而留言回應如下:

魚夫勇敢趕火車,
可惜雙腳尖著地作樣。
不過,
此圖景令人想起,
少年時跳火車的往事。

* 想當年讀初高中時上學返家連續追趕跳了六年的火車。雖是少年無智的行爲, 卻令人回味不盡。


I saw this picture on Yufu's blog, and left a comment (something like the following in English).

Yufu bravely catches the train.
Unfortunately, it's only a posture for picture.
But,
This picture brings to my mind,
Chasing train while I was young.

* For six years, I took the train round trips while I was in junior and senior high school. Even though catching (chasing or jumping) a train like that was not an acceptable behavior, that was what we young lads did long long ago.

Capoeira 卡波耶拉

Capoeira, originated in Africa, is now a popular game in Latin America.

It is a mixture of music, dance, sport, exercise, and competition activity.

Visitors 訪客

Sirtea Garden visitors: 2 Wrens and 2 Canadian Geese.
This wren sat on top of pine cone flower high up in the air(↓ left) . I used 5X telephoto (my Olympus maximum 5X) to take this picture. It's a bit blurry.
← Two Canadian Geese dropped in to visit. Our white female duck befriended with them. I hoped she wouldn't elope with them.


茶翁家園來了二隻鷦鷯鳥和兩隻過境的加拿大鵝。
這隻鷦鷯停息在半空中的松果花上。我用奧林寳五倍遠焦距拍攝, (↑ 左)照片糢糊些。
這兩隻(↑)過境的加拿大鵝跟白母鴨走得很親近。但願她不會跟着牠們私奔才是。
