Out Of Town

Busy, busy, and busy.
*Second round of travel 2010.
My wife and I arrived in Dallas on June 22 to visit our 1st son's family.
We arrived in PHX on June 26 to visit mour daughter in Goodyear. We will be with our 2nd son's family in Surprise. Ha, Town of Surprise. Yes, Surprise, a lot of surprises.
I thank God for the gifts of our children and grand children. They are our precious blessings.

New $100 Bill 新百元鈔

U.S. Government unveils new $100 bill to foil counterfeiters. The new bill includes watermarks and an embedded security thread and will go into circulation in February 2011.
U.S. currency holders/users do not have to trade in their older design $100 notes when the new ones begin circulating.

美國聯邦政府展示新百元大鈔來抗僞造。新百元鈔加上水紋和保全螺紋安全設計。新鈔將於2011年二月開始發行。
持有舊鈔的人不必要換新鈔, 新舊鈔票將同時流通使用。

Newborn Swallows 小小燕子

I found a nest full of newborn swallows under the awning corner. Due to small space gap, I could not see them. Fortunately, My camera helped capture them. There were at least 4 babies in the nest. The mother swallow was out looking for baby food....



在這個遮日篷⻆發現滿鳥巢新生的小燕子。太狹窄我看不到, 幸虧用相機拍到他們。看來巢中最少有四隻以上的小小燕子。母燕不在家, 我猜可能找食物去... 。

Dear Brother in Christ,
Thank God for His grace and thank you for your prayers.
The operation to cut out the 2cm malignant rectum tumor and all my 20 cm long rectum was success. I came home on April 20. I lost 2kg in body weight; now only 54kg. There is still pain in my anus when I sit. The anus is still bleeding.
My surgeon says he will operate on me weeks or months later to cut out the 2cm tumor in my lung and a tiny tumor in my liver! It makes me shudden. God have mercy upon me. Please continue to pray for me and my family, who suffer with me. Thank you.

Emergency Rescue 緊急救援

Due to more and more boats on the lake, Public Safety Division blocked off one lane of highway on Cothran Bridge this morning. They were conducting bridge and lake accident emergency rescue training. Hoping for a safe boating season.

越來越多的遊湖船和釣魚船在湖中釣魚玩水。今早公安單位關閉了柯斯蘭橋上一線段公路。他們在作湖橋事故緊急救援演習。但願人船安全遊湖。

80年代風靡臺、港、中、日、東南亞的臺灣歌星。「北國之春」最近網路票選爲鄧麗君唱最被喜愛的歌曲。



Teresa Teng was a renowned Taiwanese Singer of the 1980s in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, China and South Asia. "Northland's Spring" was voted recently on the internet the most loved song sang by Teresa Teng.

Wild Scallions 野葱

Wild scallions are growing everywhere. They are edible. But, they won't be as good as farm grown. I threw them onto compost heap.

野葱到處亂生亂長。雖說它們是可吃的, 我認爲還是農場培育的才更好吃。順手丟棄堆肥堆。(想到小時候老師和課本教--對岸同胞吃草根... !!!)

I borrowed these scallion pictures from Rev. Chuang's blog. They enjoyed the food and one day trip to northeast coast-Yilan, Taiwan. What a treat they shared.
