A Maldives Beach Awash in Bio-luminescent Phytoplankton Looks Like an Ocean of Stars.
While vacationing on the Maldives Islands, Taiwanese photographer Will Ho stumbled onto an incredible stretch of beach covered in millions of bioluminescent phytoplankton. These tiny organisms glow similarly to fireflies and tend to emit light when stressed, such as when waves crash or when they are otherwise agitated. While the phenomenon and its chemical mechanisms have been known for some time, biologists have only recently began to understand the reasons behind it.

The Taiwan Presbyterian Church in remembrance of 88 flood reconstruction work "88 Hurricane 4th Anniversary Service," is held on August 10, 2013 at Neipue, Pintong, the Director-General Rev. Lin Fangzhong led the 1700 congregations gave thanks to God for letting the people of Taiwan on the four year road for the reconstruction, and giving the church the ability to protest the unjust policies put forward suggestions, pray for the ability to mutual love, so that the disastrous area became the home of the blessings of God's kingdom.

2013年8月10日，台灣基督長老教會總會為記念88水災重建工作，於屏東內埔農工­舉行「88風災4週年紀念感恩禮拜」，總會總幹事林芳仲牧師帶領1700名會眾祈禱，­感謝上帝讓台灣人在4年的重建之路上學習相伴和扶持，賦予教會能力對不義的重建政策提­出建言，祈求有能力互助互愛，使所居之地成為蒙神祝福的國度。
