Launch of Progress MS-09 on New 4 Hour Trip to Space Station
A Russian Soyuz 2-1A has successfully launched the unmanned Russian Progress MS-09 cargo spacecraft full of 2567kg of supplies for the International Space Station. Liftoff took place from Baikonur at 21:51 UTC, July 9th 2018. The craft will perform a new ultra-fast trip to the Station docking just 4 hours later at 01:39 UTC.

The Soyuz MS-09 successfully docked to the International Space Station at 13:01 UTC, June 8th 2018. Onboard were Soyuz Commander and Cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev, ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst and NASA astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor.
