Hunger 飢餓

這張照片(左)是凱文卡特，贏得九四年普立茲新聞特寫攝影獎的作品。那是一個蘇丹女童，即將餓斃跪倒在地，而兀鷹正在女孩後方不遠處，虎視眈眈，等候獵食女孩的畫面。
當人們紛紛打聽小女孩的下落時，遺憾的是，卡特也不知道。因為當時他只以新聞專業者的角色，按下快門，取得畫面，然後離去, 而沒有趕走兀鷹，救走小女孩。
在他獲頒這一生最高榮譽兩個月之後，卡特自殺身亡了。
在我們周遭，正有無數這樣的圖像在形成、在發生，你我是否也僅止於按下人生鏡頭的快門，然後，漠然地擦肩而過？

The Sphynx Cat 斯芬克斯貓
The Sphynx (also known as Canadian Hairless) is a rare breed of cat known for its lack of a coat. The Sphynx appears to be a hairless cat, but it is not truly hairless. The skin texture resembles that of Chamois leather. It may be covered with vellus hair. Because the sphynx cats have no pelt to keep them warm they huddle up against other animals and people. They even tend to cuddle up and sleep with their owners under the covers.
斯芬克斯貓（Sphynx）又稱加拿大無毛貓。體重3.5到7公斤，肌肉發達，毛髮稀疏，皮膚皺褶似羚羊皮。頭部棱角分明。微呈三角型。眼大呈檸檬狀，多數呈金色，上眼角斜向耳，間距較寬。這是一種對陽光十分敏感的貓。
歷史上有很多關於無毛貓的記載．但直到該品種在貓展中獲得成功人們才開始注意它，並對它產生興趣。此種貓目前屬稀有品種。斯芬克司貓性格活潑，貪玩，獨立性強，無攻擊性，能與其它的狗、貓相處。感情豐富，希望得到主人的專寵。
因為無毛，對外界溫度調節能力差，既怕冷、又怕熱，與眾貓不同的是該品種貓能出汗、對陽光敏感(應避免長時間陽光直射)，這種貓適合公寓飼養。母貓 每年發情不超過兩次，幼貓出生死亡率高，新生小貓皮膚皺多，脊被上的毛隨著年齡的增長而消失。主人應經常護理貓的耳朵，以防耳內發炎或耳蟎滋生。

昨天4月2日是「國際枕頭戰日」，
紐約市第6屆與全球第4屆的年度枕頭戰日。
打枕頭仗總比以火箭互射好,
願對岸中國撒火箭改擺枕頭;
世界各處能和平共存享太平,
這是我的夢想更願它能實現。

TRUCK WRECK 驚險的車禍
TRUCK WRECK 如此的車禍,包死的!
Read the caption on the first photo, then look at the second photo.
Look at the picture above (Just outside Flagstaff , AZ , on U.S. Hwy 100.) and you can see where this driver broke through the guardrail, on the right side of the culvert, where the people are standing on the road, pointing.
The pick-up was traveling about 75 mph from right to left when it crashed through the guardrail. It flipped end-over-end bounced off and across the culvert outlet, and landed right side up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which the driver was traveling.
The 22-year-old driver and his 18-year-old passenger were unhurt except for minor cuts and bruises.
Now look at the second picture below...
看下圖更能體會出其驚險的狀況 ... 然而22歲司機和18歲乘客安然無恙僅受略微碰撞傷, 真命大啊!
