I left Sirtea Garden heading north. Before entering Washington DC, the traffic became bumper to bumper. So, I took out camera and took some pictures. Beautiful sunrise!

五都大選：台灣命運的分水嶺 (自由電子報)

有人說，五都選舉是馬英九政府的期中考。但是，我認為更重大的意義是，五都大選將會是台灣命運的分水嶺。

這個分水嶺標示著迥然不同的國家方向與城市發展格局。不同的抉擇，將牽引著個人、城市乃至整個國家的命運。

五都的總人口數逼近全台灣人口總數的六成，投票結果具有關鍵性影響。因此，贏得幾個席次固然重要，但是我認為，總得票數和得票率更重要。因為此次五都大選，具有幾個分水嶺意義的指標性觀察：

國家發展總路線的抉擇

一、國家發展總路線的分水嶺：分水嶺的一邊，是隨著馬英九的傾中統一路線，最終通向被專制極權中國併吞、通向慢慢喪失民主自由和獨立國格的地獄；另一邊則是重新凝視自己國家的獨立價值和民主價值，在自由的國度中，盡一切力量開創屬於這塊土地的優勢和獨特性；盡一切力量完成台灣新國家的建構。

分水嶺的意義，在於它會形成一種很難逆轉的態勢。不同的抉擇，將決定國家未來的命運。目前台灣就像一棟向中國傾斜的房子，而且已經呈現四十度的傾斜。如果再加速傾斜過去，最後就像八八風災中的台東知本金帥飯店，走上完全倒塌毀滅的命運。

對中共極權統治研究甚深的中國流亡作家袁紅冰指出：「國民黨權貴和馬英九政府背叛台灣的根本政治利益─自由民主體制，正在把台灣推入中共極權政治控制下的統一之路。這些國民黨權貴，逼迫台灣人必須做出重大的命運選擇：要跟隨國民黨的投降政策，走上做中共暴政下的政治奴隸之路；或者做為台灣自由人，徹底走出國民黨的歷史陰影，開創自由獨立的新國家。」

因此這次五都大選，若國民黨贏得三席以上市長席次，馬政權的傾中路線將會更加速、更理直氣壯；反之，國民黨得票率若低於四成以下，等於是人民對馬的執政路線提出最嚴厲的警告，更明白說就是：「台灣人民不接受馬英九的終極統一路線！」

五都大選絕對是國家發展總路線的民意公投，更是台灣命運的分水嶺。

馬英九的「脫美入中」戰略

二、經濟發展戰略的分水嶺：日本在明治維新初期以「脫亞入歐」大戰略，讓日本的工業技術與歐美國家接軌，展開經濟產業結構的大翻新與大躍進，為日本進入現代文明國家奠定了雄厚的基礎。目前日本仍以不斷研發創新品牌、提升競爭力和行銷全球而成為世界主要的經濟體。韓國在近二十年來積極仿效的就是「日本發展模式」。以開創自我品牌和行銷策略進軍全球，現在其經貿實力已經在亞洲名列前茅，緊追日本之後。

反觀馬政府的經濟戰略，說白了就是「脫美入中」。ＥＣＦＡ就是要讓台灣成為中國經濟體的一部分，加入以中國為核心的一中市場經濟圈，台灣則成為邊陲、成為中國保護傘下的附庸。基本上這是一個「國家自殺」的經濟戰略，尤其在中國想併吞台灣的野心從未改變的情況下。

對於這種違反世界經濟常識的「去國家化」戰略，我認為不是馬英九頭殼壞去，這完全符合其「脫美入中」戰略，完成從經濟、文化到政治與中國終極統一的超完美佈局。

英國「經濟學人」雜誌直言，馬政府的ＥＣＦＡ政策將造成六十年來兩岸現狀的最大改變。美國知名雜誌「TIME」也指出，ＥＣＦＡ的簽訂讓中國暗爽在心，馬政府已經為中國要「和平統一」台灣，揭開了序幕。許多關注民主台灣的國外觀察家也紛紛提出質疑：兩岸的經濟高度整合雖為兩岸帶來和緩氣氛，但民主台灣會不會步上香港後塵，被極權中國「和平併吞」？甚至亞太地區的戰略均勢，是否會因台灣被併入中國而產生重大的衝擊？

這不僅是國外觀察家的疑慮，也是國內所有台灣人民心中最大的憂懼不安。所以，五都大選不僅是對馬政府的經濟政策ＥＣＦＡ的公投；更是國家經濟發展戰略的分水嶺。

城市治理能力高下立判

三、城市進步或退步的分水嶺：一個城市進步與否的關鍵在於城市領航者─縣市長的治理能力。基本上我認為，帶動整個台灣地方治理績效、改變城市風貌，甚至為市民帶來福祉和光榮感，民進黨實在厥功甚偉。

從宜蘭的陳定南、游錫堃開創了宜蘭人的光榮感；陳水扁市長的整頓魄力、蘇貞昌的北縣輝煌政績、謝長廷的高雄奇蹟和陳菊的世運榮耀；屏東蘇嘉全的黑鮪魚傳奇和台南陳唐山的第一名縣治、許添財和蘇煥智帶給台南新風貌，以及蘇治芬、陳明文的雲嘉經驗等等。

為什麼這些民進黨縣市長能夠不斷締造奇蹟，而且是在地方財政劃分極度不公平的困窘狀況下，完成許多不可能的任務？原因很簡單，因為他們都是以拚命三郎的方式為地方發展全力以赴，而且這些人大多出身平民家庭，比較能夠貼近人民的想法。更重要的是，他們比較不會「污錢」，所以能將所有地方預算放進「如何創造人民福祉」，而不是「如何創造自己的財富」。

郝市府的花風暴，對稍微年長的台灣人看來並不陌生，只是嘲笑：「他們本來就是這樣貪的嘛！」國民黨的結構性貪腐已經是制度性，而且行之數十年不變。長久以來，許多國民黨的縣市長和大小官，卸任時都是土地好幾筆、房子好幾棟。國民黨一直都是台灣最大的「貪腐集團」，這是社會常識，隨便問問地方耆老就知道。只是他們比較懂得如何藏污納垢和司法存在兩套標準而已。

所以，長年觀察城市治理能力，國、民兩黨實在高下立判。我想這裡面最根本的差別是「人和黨的本質完全不同」。城市品質的進步或退步，分水嶺已經不言可喻。

這場五都選戰，不僅是城市進步與否的分水嶺；是台灣社會要向上提升或向下沉淪的分水嶺；也是經濟戰略重新定位的分水嶺；更是台灣的國家命運要走向極權中國或是走向創造獨立自由的新國家，最重要的分水嶺。

台灣人民該如何抉擇，我想你已經心裡有數了。至於如何將螞蟻雄兵的人民力量擴散出去，以眾志成城的意志改變台灣的命運，也只有靠你們了！還是一句話─改變（CHANGE），掌握在你的手中！大家一起動起來吧！ （作者為搶救台灣聯盟總策劃)

A Star tonight 一顆星星

I saw a lone star in the clear sky this evening. I played with my camera . With night scene option, I shot some pictures with flash and some without. These were the pictures I took between 8:12 PM and 8:36 PM. Yah, a very interesting camera trick.

今晚看到晴空中只有一顆星星, 拿起照相機試拍玩玩。用夜景功能, 幾張開閃光燈, 有幾張不開。第一張8點12分, 最後一張8點36分拍的。同一顆星郤顯現了不同的影像。照相機的把戲, 真奇妙。

Cantaloupes Harvested 採皺皮瓜

We start to harvest cantaloupes. Showed here 3 different shapes. They are sweet and very juicy, except they are smaller in size. That's because they were seeded from cantaloupes we had enjoyed last year, not from commercial grower.

開始採收皺皮瓜, 有3種不同型態。甜又多汁, 就是小了一點。因爲是用去年吃後留下的種子培育而不是向培栽商買來的瓜苖。

Credit card Scam 信用卡詐術

Latest Hotel Credit Card Scam

One of the latest credit card scams occurs after you have checked into your hotel or motel.
The phone rings and the caller says it is the front desk and they have had a problem processing your credit card. They ask you to repeat the credit card number, the name and expiration date on the card, plus the 3-digit security code on the card back. They may also ask you to repeat your home address.
The scam occurs because the "scammer" calls the hotel and ask for a ramdom room number and begins the conversation when you answer, saying it is the front desk.
If you ever receive this type of call, do not provide any personal information and tell the caller you are going to hang up and will call back to the front desk or you will go down to the front desk right away. That will verify if the call is actually from the front desk. And if it turns out the front desk didn't make the call, let the manager know what happened. (Source: AAA Go Magazine)

最近信用卡詐騙術之一是當你登完記進入旅館房間後發生的。
電話鈴響,對方說是旅館服務台你的信用卡有些問題。他們要你再念一遍信用卡號碼, 姓名, 有效日期, 卡後面3字安全密碼。他們可能要你再說住家地址。
他們是這樣騙: 詐騙者打電話到旅社服務台請接某號(任一)房間。轉接通後, 你一接他就說是服務站打來的
如果接到這樣的電話, 千萬別回應說出你的私人資料。告訴他, 你掛電話後立刻去服務台或會給服務台回電話。這樣才能確定是服務台打來的。如果不是, 就要向旅社經理報告所發生的事。(資料來自三A旅行雜誌)
